Join us at Moerushin Aikido for a transformative Self-Defense Workshop on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM in Arlington, TN.
This special event centers the lived experiences of women and offers a space to connect with your inner strength, build confidence, and learn practical, real-world safety skills. Whether you’re brand new to self-defense or looking to deepen your practice, this workshop offers a powerful and supportive environment to grow.
What to Expect:
- Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD): Learn assertive communication, boundary-setting, and strategic physical techniques grounded in awareness, not aggression.
- Aikido-Based Movement: Explore how the principles of aikido—blending, centering, and redirection—can empower your body and mind.
- Hands-On Practice: Engage in partner drills and embodied scenarios designed to help you respond with clarity and confidence.
- Supportive Community: Connect with others in a safe, affirming, and inclusive space.
This workshop is open to all genders—with the understanding that the focus of the teaching, examples, and group culture will center women’s voices and experiences. Everyone attending is asked to support that intention.
