Aikido is a non-competitive martial art, appropriate for people of all genders, ages, and abilities. We train in a spirit of cooperation and support, maintain small class sizes, and provide all students with individualized and personal instruction. You can start right away: come by and watch a class! Our practice emphasizes traditional martial arts training, respect (rei), inclusivity, and community.
We practice in the studio at Arlington Fitness in the heart of Arlington, Tennessee–walking distance from historic Depot Square. We are located on Highway 70, not far from I-40, convenient for people in Arlington, eastern Shelby County (including Bartlett), and parts of Fayette and Tipton counties. We currently practice on Thursdays (6 – 7:30pm) and Saturdays (12:30 – 2pm). Check our current schedule.
We are a satellite of Mid-South Aikido and members of the Aikido World Alliance (AWA). The AWA is an affiliate of the Aikikai Foundation, Aikido World Headquarters in Tokyo, Japan.
